Finally,… the working table!

Hi!

Hope you all are having a wonderful Friday night! At least today I cooked something tasty for me jiji. I put in the oven a pita bread with zucchini, fresh mushroom, 3 types of cheese and salami for 20 minutes and sat down with a cold beer (a Segua) to ate. Uffff I needed that!

Before my meal I can tell you that, finally my new workbench for my apartment, arrived to the apartment! I´m so happy!!!! Now,  I also have a station at the apartment, is a new beginning.

So many things have happened this past two weeks! Sooo many things, that I looked back and I don´t believe it has been so short! A love one started his ride to the universe, my husband came, started a white gold engagement ring with a black diamond and 3 white little diamonds (pictures as soon as the girlfriend gets her ring ;) !!!!), had a photo shoot for profile pictures with Leo Carvajal, Lía got sick, spent time with my husband (trying to be patient with the universe and happy with our geographic situation) participated in a open house with my casual jewelry, my husband went back, started working until 4 pm as a landscape architect for a month or so, got sick for the third time in three weeks, went to the control pediatric date with Lía and celebrated that Lía turned 5 months today!

And guess what jiji I want some vacations! But, I think that for the moment, sitting in my new workbench and play with tools, metals and others will be my mini vacation. I will breath and enjoy every second of them!

Hi!

Wow… I repeat to myself again T I M E  F L I E S  A W A Y!!! I want to grab it, and put it down!

I need you to stay still, time! My little one is growing so fast! Now she grabs stuff and puts E V E R Y T H I N G  on her mouth O H  O H  O H. On my workshop I have so many projects behind! Even though I don´t what happened, but this Sunday was a quite productive one! Finish all the little pieces for a Open House we are having. Pictures pretty soon! I want to finish the N E C K L A C E that originated the idea of the little pieces first!

I enjoy to work at my workshop! It is that moment when you are with you. Where you can meditate and let your inner person out, to create in this tangible world what´s in your being.

I enjoy to be at my workshop! It reminds me that we can still be a child. Where you can play with your tools/toys and use your imagination as you please.

I enjoy my hobby/second job very much and I will work to have a little workshop here at my home. I hope to have the chance to play with my toys, while Lía is playing with hers at my side. I hope to be a good mom and a good artist as well. So a little workshop in the house is one of the many projects I have listed :) ! Wish me luck!!!!

Gargoyle Collection

Gargoyle Collection… it was inspire by the creatures who are represented in the National Theater of Costa Rica. Different sculptures of animals, objects and people are intrinsic part of the decoration of the Theater and a gargoyle at the coffee shop captured my eye last year. So, for all of you I wanted to extend the Theater by creating this collection. Every user will be wearing a little part of the building, its history and a mini part of the Costa Rican culture.

This are the pictures that are part of my experiments to take better pictures for the Etsy Shop, link here. It is awesome when you feel you are improving yourself. :) !!! I´m happy!!!!! I will let myself feel pleased for the night! Feel the present being. Tomorrow I will take over the apprenticeship and continue working hard, on my little project, shop, hobby, passion!!!! Little by little the project grows.

I really hope you enjoy the bangle. If you feel curiosity you can see the rest of the pieces of the collection I still have at the shop.

This bangle is handmade in my workshop out of bronze, sterling silver and a chrysoprase.

Exhibition this weekend: OH OH OH MY!

This Saturday we have a collective exhibition on Monteverde, Costa Rica. Monteverde is a beautiful place, it is located in the northern part of our country. There you can find a awesome cloud forest and a very touristic little and cultural town.

Our exhibition is going to take place in one of the mountain hotels of the surroundings, Hotel Belmar. For the moment I have to finish the 5 necklaces I’m working on, they are orange acrylic birds on bronze handwoven chains. Pictures when they are finished :) !

This past weeks have been really busy! Have you ever feel like you have so many things to do and so little time!????

We are preparing a Collective Exhibition in Monteverde at the Belmar Hotel. Some friends and me are going to exhibit our work in this marvelous place! A beautiful cloud forest with rustic living :) !!! The exhibition is going to be on August, 25; so I need to hurry so much!!!!!!

But as you can tell from the picture my jewelry work is also playful!!! jijijiji On Saturday we work and play for a little bit, I love my Saturday´s at School!!!! I worked on the last orders I had, so I can concentrate on my personal work for Monteverde! I’m glad I finished what I had to finish.
