At last one of the engagement rings I’ve worked. This has the infinite love written all around it. This wonderful patient guy gave this beautiful white gold with 3 little good quality white diamonds and 1 black rose cut diamond. So that you know, small diamonds are conflict FREE ones ! Also black diamonds. Because of the price they aren’t part of the diamond war we know is occurring in some parts of the world. So this ring goes with all the requiring peace and love.
I’m really enjoying doing engagement rings!!!! They are so good quality jewelry and have so good energy! I love the idea the surrounds them. Here some history on the R I N G!:
The E N G A G E M E N T R I N G respect to the materials of manufacturing, the first rings found were made of iron, bronze, leather, wood and cane. The latter two were the most used materials in the Middle Ages, due to the limited resources of the population. The gold was reserved for the wealthiest families. Also, embedding gemstones, such as diamonds, appear with the emergence of trade in art objects. The diamond ring is the one that has gained a greater role in the wealthier classes for the legend that revolved around this stone; since, ancient times it was said that this stone scintillation was due to the fires of L O V E that were trapped in them by a alchemist.
Curious are also some superstitions that surround the engagement ring: like they said brides have no desire to get a ring of pearls, it is said that brings tears during the marriage. And of course, there was the fatal harbinger of the loss of the ring, resulting in the decline of marriage.
Right now I’m working on another one. So much love around! To do custom jewelry, to sit down with the boyfriend and to design the ring is a journey of love. Definitely love is in the air.
This is one L O V E L Y Collection of sterling silver goodies. Love clouds, hearts all around and tiny beautiful things for your delight. Love from my heart to all the hearts! Soon for sale.
Anything worth doing is outside of your comfort zone… those words have so much meaning. Sometimes we are afraid of doing things just because we are quietly relax in our life.
Right now I’ve been push to accomplish, or at least try jijiji one dream. I love jewelry making and its been over 12 years of doing it as a hobby (well, you know a productive hobby, as I tell it). And right now I have the opportunity to dedicate part time of my work days to do it ! It really makes me scare, I want to run to the other side! YES! I really do! But as I always say: “Al toro por los cuernos” (take the bull by the horns). Breath!… work hard, do lists, be creative and make the action happen.

Hope you all are having a wonderful Friday night! At least today I cooked something tasty for me jiji. I put in the oven a pita bread with zucchini, fresh mushroom, 3 types of cheese and salami for 20 minutes and sat down with a cold beer (a Segua) to ate. Uffff I needed that!
Before my meal I can tell you that, finally my new workbench for my apartment, arrived to the apartment! I´m so happy!!!! Now, I also have a station at the apartment, is a new beginning.
So many things have happened this past two weeks! Sooo many things, that I looked back and I don´t believe it has been so short! A love one started his ride to the universe, my husband came, started a white gold engagement ring with a black diamond and 3 white little diamonds (pictures as soon as the girlfriend gets her ring !!!!), had a photo shoot for profile pictures with Leo Carvajal, Lía got sick, spent time with my husband (trying to be patient with the universe and happy with our geographic situation) participated in a open house with my casual jewelry, my husband went back, started working until 4 pm as a landscape architect for a month or so, got sick for the third time in three weeks, went to the control pediatric date with Lía and celebrated that Lía turned 5 months today!
And guess what jiji I want some vacations! But, I think that for the moment, sitting in my new workbench and play with tools, metals and others will be my mini vacation. I will breath and enjoy every second of them!
Pictures of the workbench below.
ME, YOU, EVERYONE… do all things with love. And smile!

PD: By the way getting my mini jewelry working table, hopefully this weekend, YEY!!!!! Also, pictures soon! Need to organized everything first jijij
My workshop at my grandmas house, a little mess with everything on hand!
I enjoy to work at my workshop! It is that moment when you are with you. Where you can meditate and let your inner person out, to create in this tangible world what´s in your being.
I enjoy to be at my workshop! It reminds me that we can still be a child. Where you can play with your tools/toys and use your imagination as you please.
I enjoy my hobby/second job very much and I will work to have a little workshop here at my home. I hope to have the chance to play with my toys, while Lía is playing with hers at my side. I hope to be a good mom and a good artist as well. So a little workshop in the house is one of the many projects I have listed ! Wish me luck!!!!
Time F L I E S away from you, it is precious and should be wasted wisely !!!!
Oh my wonderful March… With March came a few changes. On Wednesday I started working again, part time though, just in the mornings. To leave my beautiful little mini girl on a day care center was kind of bizarre, it make me think on the society human kind has built. I have to leave to work to provide her with the necessary; a house, food, education, health care,… and to fulfill myself as a women who can take care of her by herself. I know those are necessities to live the way we are used to. But in contradistinction where is the family time? When I was young, I lived in a rural part of Costa Rica, where time didn’t fly away, you could spend time with the family and have at walk distance all your errands. Sometimes I missed that, to be in a place where your time is really value, where you don’t have to pass 2 hours of your short 24 hours day in a traffic jam, where your family and friends are your neighbors.Society has grown a way you feel you are running all the time behind something. You see a lot of people so stress, not happy, spending their days in a way you see they don’t value that, that precise day was unique, one of a kind,.. a day in their life it wont come back!
Well I guess all that melancholic thinking is because I have to leave my little mini girl in good hands, but strange ones.
